MF Body

Perfect for busy school-age children, Yamaha Music Education System's Music Friends Course allows students to study playing piano and keyboard at their own pace. Music Friends integrates individual and group lesson methods with the perfect balance. The teacher, on one hand, can closely monitor each student's progress during the one-on-one instruction of repertoire playing; on the other, group activities give students opportunities to enjoy ensemble playing and musically interact fellow classmates where private lessons cannot provide.

Students will utilize the latest digital technologies including tablets and online videos as companions to their piano and keyboard studies. At home, log on to Music Friends' dedicated webpage to view tutorials and choose the pieces the student wants to play. This unique music course makes practicing and playing music fun and easy.

Music Friends is offered in two age groups:
6-7 years old, and,
8 years old and above.

Classes meet once a week with interactive fun (except holidays published in the annual school calendar).

Parent's
Role

Parents are not required to be present during lesson time. However, parent's role at home to continue encouraging practice and facilitating a consistent practice schedule is imperative to the student's learning and progress.

Tuition

Our fixed monthly tuition is calculted based on lessons per year. You may have 3, 4 or 5 lessons per month based on our published annual calendar. Discount is offered for 6-month or 12-month advance payment.

Instrument

All MF students must have access to a piano or keyboard for practicing. For students who do not currently own a piano or keyboard, please contact us so that we can recommend a proper unit to you.
