2008.08.12 Second Thoughts Poetry and Open Mic
Second Thought Poetry and Open Mic presented by the Muckenthaler Cultural Center Foundation in Fullerton was an unforgetable experience for many of our students. With wild, unconformed and imaginative poetry, The Muckenthaler in Fullerton graciously invited advance students from our school to appear with renowned San Diego poets. With such grace and tact, Mr. David Kurtz, our guitar instructor performed with students Joe Callinan, Jim Tao and Hillwood Chan complementing the evening's inspiring poetry in the charming courtyard of the museum. 2003.06.22 6th Annual Students Concerts
Our 6th annual students concerts took place on June 22, 2003 at the Titan Students Union in Cal State Fullerton. With more than 120 students featured in 4 shows, the concerts were filled with fun and excitement.
In this year’s concert, students played not only piano and keyboard but also guitar, harp and flute. Some demonstrated their vocal skills in front of the audience.
At the end of each show, our new instructors, Mr. Isamu Nakashio and Miss Hime Kang, gave riveting performances as conclusions to each session. Mr. Nakashio performed “Recuerdos de la Alhambra” with his guitar and Miss Kang played the 3rd movement of Beethoven’s “Moonlight Sonata” at the piano.
All students received mementos as rewards of their hard work and great performances presented to them by our Administrative director, Mr. Tony Liu.
Congratulations to all the performers for their spendid performances!
